The model of formation of a transitional layer in coating obtained during microarc oxidation of aluminium alloys in silicate-alkaline electrolytes is offered. The opportunities and mechanism of coatings obtained by microarc oxidation sealing are analyzed. The opportunity of obtaining of a selective layer on surface of filter elements made from a titanium powder is studied and the model of its formation is offered.
